A Brief History of Episcopal Conference of Malawi
Established in 1961 with approval of the Holy See, the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has until now been an assembly of eight Catholic Dioceses of Blantyre, Chikwawa, Dedza, Karonga, Lilongwe, Mangochi, Mzuzu and Zomba.
With its mission "To bring about the kingdom of God in Malawi by teaching and promoting unity, development, justice, peace and solidarity"
Our Mission

Evangelization
Proclaiming the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ to all people in Malawi and fostering spiritual growth among the faithful.

Justice and Peace
Promoting human dignity, advocating for social justice, and working towards peace and reconciliation in our society.

Education
Supporting Catholic education and formation at all levels to nurture faith, intellect, and character in future generations.
