The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace (CCJP) was founded in 1992 to promote awareness of human rights, justice and peace in the communities the church serves.

Mission
Creation of a God–fearing, just and peaceful Malawian society that promotes integral development and lasting peace that will contribute to the common effort of the Episcopal Conference of Malawi and the whole church.
Goals

  1. Promotion of adherence and awareness of human rights.
  2. Promotion of economic justice.
  3. Provision of research and advocacy services.
